Assistant Project Designer

Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing design concepts and space planning based on project requirements.
2. Support preparation of design drawings, including layout plans, elevations, and details.
3. Assist in coordinating with site team to ensure works align with design intent.
4. Participate in site inspections and help identify and resolve design or technical issues.
5. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and factory for smooth project execution.
6. Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material submissions.
7. Support material and finishes selection in line with project requirements.
8. Attend site and client meetings when required.
9. Monitor site progress and assist in maintaining project quality and timeline.

Requirements

1. Diploma / Higher Diploma or above in Interior Design or related discipline.
2. 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or design projects.
3. Basic knowledge of construction details, materials, and site coordination.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe software.
5. Willing to learn, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Good communication and coordination skills.
7. Willing to work on-site when required.
