Assistant Project Designer

About the role

Spazio Design Studio Limited, a leading interior commerical design & build firm in Wan Chai, is seeking a talented Assistant Project Designer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative design solutions for our diverse range of clients. Whether working on commercial projects, you will play a key part in ensuring the successful implementation of our design visions.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting with the creation of design concepts and proposals, including sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings
2. Collaborating with the design team to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing interior design solutions
3. Sourcing and selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with the project vision
4. Preparing detailed design documentation, including specifications and project timelines
5. Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
6. Providing support throughout the construction and installation phases
7. Continuously researching industry trends and best practices to enhance our design offering

What we're looking for

1. A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
2. 1-3 years of relevant experience in an interior design or architecture studio (for Assistant Project Designer)
3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
4. Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the design team and clients
6. Able to multi-task to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, be proactive and able to work in team environment
7. Willing to work under pressure, overtime and able to work independently
