Assistant Project Engineer

Work Location : Demak Laut Industrial Park, Kuching.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Engineer to join the dynamic team at Classic Emas (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. As a full-time Assistant Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of aluminum engineering projects within the company. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in the Engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers in planning, scheduling and monitoring project activities
• Manage project documentation including drawings, contract RFIs, change orders, and requests
• Control document version, distribution and approval to ensure accuracy, accessibility and regulatory compliance (eg: ISO Standards)
• Prepare meeting minutes, conduct quality checks as needed to support project engineer
• Maintain filing systems, both digital and physical and archive records per company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline) with at least 1-2 years of experience in project engineering or document control probably in construction

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

• Familiar with document control systems and document management practices

• Able to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and technical information

• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience in the aluminum industry is an advantage but not mandatory

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
