Assistant Project Engineer (Five-day work week)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Monitor project timelines across different stages of product development, including prototypes, mold development, production, and product/material sourcing
• Work closely with internal teams and customers on product development
• Participate in production processes to drive continuous improvement in processes, methods, productivity, and quality
• Perform hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting of defective products
• Provide technical support to sales, production, sourcing, and customer service teams
• Prepare and maintain technical documents
• Handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the manager

Who We Are Looking For:

• Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Working experience in the electronics and technology field, preferably in the lighting industry. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the role of Project Engineer.
• Proficient in 3D CAD
• Hands‑on experience in product design
• Hands‑on experience with testing standards (e.g., UL, IEC/EN, EMC, FCC/IC) and certification processes is an added advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Responsible, organized, and proactive
• Self‑motivated, able to work both in teams and independently with minimal supervision

You Will Have an Advantage If You Are / Have:

• Proficient in Mandarin
• Immediately available
