Assistant Project Engineer / Project Engineer (Solar Design & Submission)

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & CAD Drafting: Prepare comprehensive engineering drawings using AutoCAD, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, system layout plans, and mounting structure details for solar PV systems.

• Statutory & Utility Submissions: Handle and coordinate full submission applications to local utility companies (CLP / HK Electric FiT Scheme) and government bodies (EMSD, BD, LandsD) to satisfy regulatory requirements.

• Technical Proposals & Documentation: Draft technical proposals, equipment specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and project submission documents.

• Site Survey & Feasibility Assessment: Conduct preliminary site surveys and technical assessments to gather structural and electrical data for design optimization.

• Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal project teams, registered structural engineers (RSE), equipment suppliers, and sub-contractors to refine technical solutions.

  For Senior/Experienced Candidates:

• Education: Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in solar PV design, E&M drafting, or engineering submission in Hong Kong.

• Technical Skills: Highly proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in drafting SLD and schematic drawings.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid knowledge of CLP / HK Electric Feed-in Tariff (FiT) submission processes, EMSD Codes of Practice, and local building regulations.

• Licensing: Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (REW) Grade A or above is an advantage.

For Fresh Graduates / Junior Candidates:

• Education: Recent graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or relevant subjects.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD with understanding of electrical schematic diagrams.
• Attitude: Detail-oriented, proactive learner, and passionate about the renewable energy sector.
