Assistant Project Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all project activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

• Oversee feasibility, pre and post development planning, execution, and deliver projects from inception till completion.

• Manage and monitor budgets, scheduling, equipment and site resources.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.

• Overseeing site operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, health standards and quality requirements.

• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, reports and records.

• Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings to track project advancement.

• Identifying and mitigating project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Attend project meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.

• Assist the Project Manager in managing project and perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil/construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and site coordination.

• Excellent project planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making capabilities under pressure

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project / Primavera P6 is an advantage.

• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel or work at project sites when required.
