Assistant Project Manager – Structural Steel
We are a growing steel joist manufacturing company looking for a Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Tappan, NY.
The position will work directly with customers and coordinate projects from drawings through production. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating revisions with detailers/engineers, communicating with customers, purchasing materials, tracking orders, and coordinating with our fabrication team.
Qualifications:
- Construction, structural steel, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to read and understand structural/architectural drawings
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good with customers
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects
- Steel joist experience is a plus, but we will train the right person
We are looking for someone motivated and dependable who wants to learn and grow into a Project Manager role.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
