Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager role at SAMA CASA Limited' is a full-time position based in the Wong Tai Sin District. You will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of construction projects, assisting with overseeing all aspects of site operations and providing valuable support to the wider project team.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Project Manager in the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction & maintenance projects
• Monitor budgets, timelines and project milestones, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes and other project documentation as required
• Support the implementation of quality control measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator role within the interior design and construction industry
• Strong understanding of Retail project management principles, methodologies and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to create detailed project reports and presentations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Maintenance & Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
