Job Summary

Jacobs is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support construction and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will assist project managers with scheduling, documentation, coordination, budgets, and communication to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with daily project activities
• Track project schedules, budgets, and deadlines
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain project documents, reports, and records
• Assist with meetings, progress reports, and project correspondence
• Monitor project progress and identify potential issues
• Support procurement, material tracking, and deliveries
• Assist with inspections, permits, and project closeout
• Communicate project updates with management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
• Previous project coordination or construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of project management and construction processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
