Assistant Project Manager

· Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing daily project operations.

· Supervise and monitor site progress to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.

· Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

· Oversee site activities related to bored piling, pile cap, basement, and other substructure works.

· Review construction drawings, technical documents, and project schedules to ensure proper execution of work.

· Identify project risks, resolve site issues promptly, and implement practical solutions to minimize delays.

· Monitor project quality, cost, and progress, and prepare regular project reports for management.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, CIDB regulations, and all relevant safety and environmental standards.

· Lead, guide, and support Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, and other project team members.

· Attend project meetings and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in bored piling, foundation, or substructure works.

· Hands-on experience in bored piling, pile cap, basement, and substructure construction.

· Experience in managing site operations, project coordination, subcontractors, and project schedules.

· Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Good knowledge of construction drawings, project planning, cost control, quality management, and contract administration.

· Familiar with Malaysia construction regulations, CIDB requirements, and safety standards.

· Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
