Assistant Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Project Manager to support our technology and business operations. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to drive project execution, track project lifecycles from initiation to closure, and ensure that deliverables are met on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily project progress against established timelines (Gantt charts/project plans), tracking milestones and deliverables across various teams
• Maintain and update project documentation, including project schedules, issue logs, risk registers, and action item trackers
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and ensure clear follow-ups on assigned tasks
• Act as a central communication bridge between internal departments, technical teams, and external stakeholders
• Apply standardized project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK or Agile frameworks) to streamline workflows and maintain documentation standards
• Assist in organizing and coordinating testing phases (such as UAT) and pre-implementation checks
• Support the Project Manager in tracking resource allocation, vendor coordination, and identifying potential project bottlenecks
• Help document and evaluate change requests (Scope Creep) to maintain project alignment

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in project coordination, IT implementation, or general project management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred
