Assistant Project Manager

About the role

An Assistant Project Manager role supporting the management of stone installation projects within the operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders, monitor project progress, and assist in maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. This role offers valuable exposure to project management practices and the opportunity to develop essential skillsets while reporting directly to the Operation Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and project documentation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and report on site readiness
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and project updates
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes
• Act as a liaison between Operation Manager, installers, and clients
• Attend regular coordination meetings and resolve coordination issues promptly
• Support quality checks and ensure installation meets design specifications
• Assist in risk management and propose corrective actions when necessary

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Project/Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or interior solutions
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site practices in Singapore is an advantage
