Assistant Project Manager

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:
Assist in the planning and delivery of construction and fit-out projects from inception through to completion.

Support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in managing project deliverables and client requirements.

Assist in preparing project reports, meeting minutes, progress updates and presentations.

Coordinate project stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.

Monitor project schedules, budgets and risk registers.

Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings.

Assist with procurement activities including tender documentation and tender evaluations.

Monitor construction activities and site progress.

Support contract administration activities including progress claim reviews and variation assessments.

Assist in managing commissioning, handover and close-out activities.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety and statutory requirements.

Build and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related discipline.

3-6 years' project management experience within construction, infrastructure or data centre projects.

Exposure to design, procurement and construction delivery processes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Experience in data centre, mission-critical or MEP-intensive projects would be advantageous.
