Assistant/ Project Manager, Construction

What you'll be doing

• Lead coordination with subcontractors, architects, consultants and relevant authorities on project, design and construction matters
• Oversee construction drawings, site details, defects and variations, ensuring discrepancies are resolved before construction works and subcontractor payments are processed
• Manage subcontractors’ work progress, manpower and productivity against project requirements, programme and quality standards
• Plan and track project schedules, conduct regular coordination meetings and oversee site logistics to ensure works progress smoothly and project milestones are achieved
• Lead and coach project team members while driving improvements in site coordination, work processes and overall project efficiency

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from recognised institutions
• 6 - 9 years of working experience in construction or civil engineering projects, with experience in a main contractor environment
• Strong experience in project coordination, subcontractor management, construction planning and site operations
• Familiar with construction drawings, project schedules, variations, defects and quality requirements
• Good understanding of Singapore construction practices, relevant codes and authority requirements
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage project teams and multiple stakeholders
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet project timelines
