Assistant Project Manager [SL]

Project Planning and Scheduling:
Report to the Project Manager and assist in managing designated project sections as assigned and reflected in the project organisation chart. Develop and monitor detailed work programmes to ensure assigned activities are completed within the approved master schedule.

Quality, EHS and Environmental Compliance:
Implement and monitor applicable ISO management systems, quality assurance and control procedures, environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements, and green building practices in accordance with company policies and project requirements.

Project Quality and Delivery:
Coordinate project activities to ensure that completed works meet the approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements of the client and consultants.

Regulatory and Authority Requirements:
Coordinate the necessary documentation, inspections, submissions, and follow-up actions to support compliance with applicable regulatory and authority requirements.

Consultant and Client Coordination:
Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders on technical matters, shop drawing submissions, material and sample approvals, and the resolution of project-related issues.

Subcontractor Management:
Coordinate and monitor subcontractors' work progress to ensure completion within the agreed schedule and compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.

Cost and Budget Control:
Monitor project expenditure, work progress, and cost variations against the approved budget. Identify potential cost overruns and coordinate appropriate corrective actions with the Project Manager.

Team Coordination and Performance:
Coordinate site personnel and project team members, monitor work progress and productivity, promote effective communication and teamwork, and ensure compliance with established work procedures.

Reporting and Other Duties:
Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager, maintain relevant project records, and undertake other project-related duties as assigned.
