We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with CAD expertise to join our construction management team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your proficiency in construction scheduling, Microsoft Excel, and technical CAD skills will be essential in driving project success. Duties

• Collaborate with project teams to review construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings created in Civil 3D or other CAD platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Support project managers in managing budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking using tools like HeavyBid and Procore to keep projects financially on track.
• Coordinate with field teams to monitor construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, construction regulations, and quality standards.
• Help prepare bid proposals, contracts, change orders, and other documentation utilizing Prolog or equivalent contract management systems.
• Track project progress through regular updates on project scheduling and report any delays or issues promptly for resolution.

Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong CAD skills with experience in Civil 3D for designing and reviewing construction plans.
• Knowledge of heavy civil construction estimating tools like HeavyBid and experience managing complex infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for construction site application.
• Experience managing teams within a construction management role with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.
• Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance standards and contract administration processes.
• Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate between field teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers effectively.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
