Assistant Property Manager

About the Role

Vijay Realty Group is looking for a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of residential rental properties and provide excellent service to property owners and tenants. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, responsive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of rental properties.
• Communicate with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and property turnovers.
• Schedule and oversee vendors and contractors and follow up to ensure work is completed.
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and tenant-related activities.
• Maintain accurate property records, leases, maintenance documentation, and communication.
• Respond promptly to tenant and owner questions and resolve issues professionally.
• Conduct property visits and inspections as needed.
• Assist with other real estate and office responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred.
• Oregon Real Estate License is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working from the Hillsboro office and traveling locally to properties.
• Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Pay: $18–$22/hour, based on experience
Schedule: 35–45 hours/week
