Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support psychologists in providing patient-centered psychological services and maintaining high standards of clinical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist psychologists with psychological assessments, interviews, and clinical observations.
• Support the delivery of psychological interventions and therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
• Assist with patient intake, screening, and collection of relevant clinical information.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising psychologist.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
• Provide appropriate patient and family support and psychoeducation under supervision.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in preparing psychological reports, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with DOH requirements and applicable healthcare standards.
• Support psychological and behavioral programs for children, adolescents, and/or adults as required.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
• Valid DOH License is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Arabic language and Female preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
