Assistant Purchase Manager - Raw Material

Job Title: Deputy Manager/ Assistant Manager Procurement (Raw Materials OSD & Injectables)
Experience: 5-9 Years
Location: Corporate Office, Sector 132, Noida

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of Raw Materials (RM) for OSD and Injectable formulations.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for pharmaceutical raw materials.
• Handle RFQs, price negotiations, and commercial discussions with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials as per production and planning requirements.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory teams for vendor qualification and required documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to prevent production delays.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with pharmaceutical regulatory and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, vendor database, and purchase records.
• Track market trends and price movements of pharmaceutical raw materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials for OSD and Injectable products.
• Good understanding of pharma procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and procurement documentation.
• Experience in handling suppliers, purchase orders, and procurement planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualification

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm
• B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry / Life Sciences)
• MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain / Operations (Preferred)
