Assistant Purchasing Manager

• Lead and manage all procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and supplier management.

• Monitor market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations to support strategic sourcing decisions.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements to achieve the best value for the company.

• Develop and execute cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality and delivery requirements.

• Analyze purchasing trends and expenditure to identify savings opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Plant, Warehouse, and related departments to ensure adequate material supply.

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ISO standards, legal requirements, and ethical procurement practices.

• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier dependency and market disruptions.

• To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Experience in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications. SAP system knowledge is added advantages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
