Job Summary

The Assistant Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading purchasing operations to ensure timely material supply, cost effectiveness, inventory control, and supplier performance in support of production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing operations aligned with production plans and MRP
• Manage PR to PO process and ensure timely PO execution
• Coordinate delivery schedules and resolve material shortages
• Work closely with suppliers, Global Procurement, and cross‑functional teams
• Support supplier performance improvement and issue resolution
• Monitor inventory levels and support PDSOH / inventory targets
• Supervise, coach, and develop Purchasing Officers and Senior Purchasing Officers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality, safety, and system requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
• 10–15 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 10 years of team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and MRP/ERP systems
• Good negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication skills in Thai and English
