Assistant Purchasing Manager

Job Responsibilities: -

• Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and purchasing documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements.
• Support cost reduction and supplier improvement initiatives.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Maintain proper purchasing and supplier records for audit purposes.
• Assist the Purchasing Manager in supervising the purchasing team and resolving supplier issues.

Job Requirements: -

• Diploma / Degree holder with minimum 3–5 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience; supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive.
