Assistant Purchasing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Purchasing Manager to support the purchasing department and manage day-to-day procurement activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing Manager with daily purchasing activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, availability, orders, and deliveries.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and branches.
• Source new suppliers and compare quotations.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers when required.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and supplier information.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Warehouse, and Retail Branches.
• Monitor pending orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare purchasing and stock reports using Excel.
• Support inventory planning and product availability.
• Assist the Purchasing Manager with supplier and purchasing-related issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in the retail industry.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Experience in vape/smoking products or vape retail is preferred.
• Good knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.
• Good MS Excel and computer skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good English communication skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
