Assistant QA Manager

About the role

To support the QA Manager in managing and improving the Quality Assurance system, ensuring product and process quality meet customer requirements, company standards, and applicable quality management systems. The position is responsible for quality data analysis, problem solving, customer quality requirements, internal quality improvement, and coordination with Production and other related functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the QA Manager in managing and maintaining the Quality Assurance system and quality standards
• Monitor product and process quality performance and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
• Review quality KPIs, trends, defects, customer complaints, and process performance
• Support internal, customer, and third-party quality audits and follow up corrective actions
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Lead or support problem-solving activities using appropriate quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC, and CAPA
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, and other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support customer complaint investigation and preparation of corrective action reports
• Establish and analyze quality reports, dashboards, and KPI trends
• Prepare monthly quality performance reports and management presentations

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Science, or related fields
• 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in Automotive, Chemical, Rubber, or manufacturing industries
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and quality improvement methodologies
• Experience in customer complaint handling, root cause analysis, CAPA, and audit management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify trends
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data analysis/reporting tools
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate and prepare reports in English
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Preferred: Experience with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards
