About the role

We are seeking an Assistant QA/QC Executive to join our quality assurance and control team on a full-time basis at our facility in Balakong, Selangor. This is a key position within our quality operations, where you will play an essential role in maintaining and enhancing our quality standards across manufacturing and logistics processes. As an Assistant QA/QC Executive, you will support the implementation of quality control measures, assist in inspections and testing procedures, and contribute to our commitment to delivering products that consistently exceed customer expectations. This role is fundamental to ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organisational quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections and testing of products and raw materials in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
• Assist in developing, documenting, reviewing, and maintaining quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Collect and analyse quality data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in investigating quality issues, defects, and non-conformances, including documenting findings and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform sampling activities and maintain accurate records of inspection results and test data.
• Assist in coordinating internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Production and Logistics teams to address quality concerns and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Support the maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant certifications.
• Participate in quality training and awareness programmes to promote a strong quality culture throughout the organisation.
• Perform other quality-related duties and improvement projects as assigned.

What we're looking for

• MinimumDiploma in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience in the food manufacturing or packaging industry will be an advantage.
• Familiarity withMalaysian Food Act, ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, or FSSC 22000 will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills inEnglish and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality.
