Assistant QC Manager / QC Supervisor

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist Q.C. Manager in monitoring overall activities during the startup process of the QC lab
• Coordinate and perform equipment qualification and prepare respective qualification protocols and reports
• Coordinate and perform test method validation
• Coordinate and perform full monograph test on starting materials
• Work with QA and Production Departments to carry out testing of Process validation and Cleaning validation samples
• Responsible for training of QC technicians
• Maintain documentation system in compliance with GMP requirements
• Perform ad-hoc duties and other QC-related duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or above in Science (Chemistry / Biology / Pharmaceutical Science or any related discipline)
• At least 5 years relevant experience in commercial testing laboratory or pharmaceutical laboratory
• At least 3 year experience in supervisory level
• Knowledge of GMP/PICS and/or ISO standards
• Extensive knowledge and experience in chemistry laboratory work
• Extensive knowledge and experience in HPLC, UV, IR and other analytical instrument
• Team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
• Hardworking, organized, initiative, self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure, and willing to work overtime
• Immediate available would be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of QC Supervisor
