Assistant QS cum Admin

About the role

This role involves supporting construction project cost management, administrative operations, and compliance functions. You will work across project costing, tender documentation, budget monitoring, and office administration while ensuring adherence to company policies and ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects
• Prepare and support tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BQ), rates, and cost schedules
• Monitor project costs and expenses to ensure they remain within the approved budget
• Conduct market research on construction materials, costs, and pricing to support project evaluations
• Prepare monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, and other cost-related documentation
• Manage office administrative matters, including utility bills, service payments, office supplies, and maintenance coordination
• Oversee the renewal of business licenses, signboard licenses, tenancy agreements, and other compliance-related documents
• Monitor company vehicle, parking passes, staff attendance records, and maintain accurate administrative records
• Assist with HR administration, including staff onboarding, exit clearance, and document management when required
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualification

• Degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Knowledge of construction regulations, industry standards, and best practices

Experience

• Fresh Graduate / minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
