Assistant Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Process Control & Improvement

• Monitor and control the production process and take responsibility for the quality of products throughout the production process.
• Develop and maintain QC Engineering Flow Charts, inspection standards, and in-process inspection procedures, and monitor the implementation by production control personnel.
• Conduct statistical analysis and monitoring of process control data.
• Investigate and handle internal quality incidents and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and analyze SPC (Statistical Process Control) and GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility) activities.
• Prepare and analyze daily and monthly quality reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with hazardous substance control requirements, including RoHS, throughout the production process.

2. Personnel & Training Management

• Provide relevant training and development programs for QC personnel.
• Manage and evaluate QC personnel to ensure effective implementation of quality control procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or above.
• Major in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or other related fields is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Good knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles and quality management methodologies.
• Proficient in the 7 QC Tools and their practical application.
• Knowledge of SPC and GR&R is preferred.

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality management or quality control.
• Practical experience in manufacturing or production quality management is preferred.
