Sporting Syndicate is the largest Sports Goods manufacturers and exporters in India. Based in Jalandhar, Punjab, the company was founded in 1960 and has since been driving India's Sports Goods industry.

About the role

We are seeking a experienced Assistant Quality Manager to join our team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and monitor day-to-day quality control operations across all manufacturing units.

· Coordinate buyer audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements.

· Implement quality standards, inspection procedures, and QC parameters.

· Identify root causes, implement CAPA, and reduce quality rejections.

· Monitor KPIs, COPQ, and First Time Right (FTR) performance.

· Train QC teams and coordinate with Production and other departments.

About you:

• At least 5-7 years of experience in the department of Quality Control is necessary
• Experience in Manufacturing industry is necessary
• Previously demonstrated strategic capability with the use of data and performance metrics
• Knowledge of QC tools including CAPA, Why-Why, First Time Right, COQ, etc., is required
• Experience with Audits, Inspections and ISO regulatory compliances is required
• Previous experience in a managerial role is necessary

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
