Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Report to Quantity Surveyor and the Administration Department, and work closely with the Sales and Site Operations Teams to verify and measure quantities for project orders and subcontract works.
• Prepare and verify project quantities, variations, claims, and payment applications.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for quantity measurement and cost control.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and site teams on project-related and contractual matters.
• Conduct site measurements and inspections to monitor project progress and verify quantities.
• Assist with final accounts, subcontractor payments, and outstanding payment follow-up.
• Provide support in other ad-hoc assignments if required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying / Building Studies or relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience as QS in local construction projects, with relevant experience working in subcontractor preferable;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Familiar with MS office and proficiency in cost estimation software;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability;
• Able to work independently, resilient under pressure and deadline-driven;
• Immediate available or short notice is highly preferred
