Assistant Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Assistant Quantity Surveyor role supporting quantity surveying activities across diverse range of construction projects at JL Concepts Haus Sdn Bhd.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents
• Conducting site measurements and quantity take-offs
• Reviewing and analysing contract variations and claims
• Compiling and presenting project data for internal and client meetings
• Liaising with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and contractors, to ensure cost-related matters are properly coordinated
• Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
• Providing technical support to the project team on quantity surveying and cost-related matters

About you

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Knowledge of cost control, cost management, and cost reporting
• Experience or knowledge in BOQ preparation and cost planning
• Good understanding of quantity surveying principles
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
