Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Our core business focuses on plumbing, sanitary ware, and drainage engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate measurement and quantification of materials from schematic and layout drawings.
• Count and verify the quantities based on architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Assist in issuing material enquiries to local and overseas suppliers or manufacturers for materials.
• Compile and organize returning quotations from various suppliers, and prepare comprehensive rate comparison sheets for management review and budgeting.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress claim documentation to be submitted to the Main Contractor or Client.
• Gather daywork sheets, site diaries, site instructions (SI), and photos to support the technical team in drafting Variation Order (VO) evaluations.
• Maintain and update the subcontractor payment logs, material delivery logs, and VO registers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying.
• Prior experience with Plumbing & Drainage, E&M (Mechanical & Electrical), or Fitting-out subcontractors is a highly valued asset.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and MS Word).
• Basic hands-on skill in AutoCAD for drawing review and electronic measurement.
• Basic knowledge of common plumbing materials, drainage standards, and major sanitary ware brands is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the position of Quantity Surveyor
