About the role

We are seeking an Assistant RDI Manager (Technical Support Section) to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Lat Lum Kaeo, Pathum Thani. This is a strategic position within our Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) division, where you will play a crucial role in supporting technical operations and contributing to the advancement of our technical capabilities. You will report to the RDI Manager and serve as a key liaison between the technical support team and senior management, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently whilst driving continuous improvement across the department.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting in the management and coordination of the Technical Support Section, ensuring optimal resource allocation and team productivity
• Providing technical guidance and support to team members on complex technical challenges and troubleshooting procedures
• Monitoring and maintaining technical infrastructure, equipment and systems to ensure operational reliability
• Documenting technical processes, procedures and best practices to enhance knowledge sharing and standardisation
• Collaborating with other departments to identify technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Preparing technical reports and performance metrics to track section effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Supporting the development and implementation of new technical protocols and standards
• Assisting in the training and development of technical support staff members
• Contributing to problem-solving initiatives and participating in continuous improvement projects
• Liaising with external vendors and technical partners as required

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification
• 2-4 years of experience in a technical support or RDI-related role, preferably within a manufacturing or technology environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of laboratory equipment, processes and quality assurance standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Proven experience in team coordination, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with technical documentation systems
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development, with strong attention to detail
• Preferably, experience with quality management systems (ISO certification knowledge would be advantageous)
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
