Assistant Research Director

Responsibilities:

1. Participate and overall management of research projects in new drugs/medical devices development and assess new technologies
2. Design studies for drug formulation
3. Provide support to data collection and analysis
4. Conduct literature search and reviews

Requirements:

1. Master’s or Doctoral degree (PhD preferred) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or other STEM-related disciplines.
2. Strong academic training in drug development, formulation science, or biomedical research.
3. Experience in conducting scientific research in drug formulation, pharmaceutical development, medical device research, or related areas.
4. Demonstrated ability to design and perform R&D experiments, analyse results, and prepare technical research reports.
5. Prior involvement in research projects, including literature review, protocol development, data analysis, or laboratory-based studies.
6. Strong understanding of R&D methodologies related to drug formulation, pre-formulation assessment, biopharmaceutics, or material characterisation.
7. Ability to design and evaluate experimental studies, including small-scale formulation trials or technology assessment.
8. Familiarity with data collection, statistical interpretation, and research documentation.
9. Strong analytical and critical-thinking ability in a scientific research environment.
10. Must participate in hands-on research work, data interpretation, and preparation of R&D outputs.
