ABOUT THE PROPERTY TRANSITION

The Lamai Samui is a long-established 5-star oceanfront boutique resort along Lamai Beach, renowned for its luxury ocean-view suites, private pool villas, and high-end guest experiences.

As part of an exciting evolution, the property is undergoing a complete concept transformation into Fivelements Samui under GOCO Hospitality. The resort will reopen as a flagship destination for integrative wellbeing, merging evidence-based medical science and bio-hacking modalities with traditional healing practices, plant-based nutrition, and sustainable living.

About the role

We are seeking an organized, commercially driven, and communicative Assistant Reservation Manager to join our team on Koh Samui. In this role, you will manage reservation workflows for both traditional resort guests and wellness package guests. While our specialized Wellness Consultants handle direct health consultations, you will play a crucial operational link between the Wellness team and the guest. By developing a solid understanding of our wellness offerings and maintaining seamless cross-departmental communication, you will ensure enquiries are smoothly converted into successful, accurately booked wellness journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central communication bridge between the Reservations team and the Wellness Consultants/Coordinators
• Maintain a deep functional understanding of Fivelements' wellness products, diagnostic journeys, and multi-day packages to accurately handle initial enquiries
• Facilitate the smooth handoff of prospective guests to Wellness Consultants for detailed health profiling, following up to confirm schedules, dietary needs, and package details in the booking system
• Ensure all wellness package pre-requisites, deposit schedules, and pre-arrival questionnaires are collected and updated in guest profiles prior to arrival
• Oversee day-to-day room-only and leisure booking requests across all direct and indirect channels
• Maintain accurate inventory, rate parity, and category availability across Oracle Opera Cloud (PMS) and Sabre SynXis (CRS)
• Ensure rapid, clear, and professional communication across phone, email, and digital messaging channels in line with property SLAs
• Work under the guidance of the Reservations Manager and Director of Commercial to execute dynamic pricing strategies, minimum-length-of-stay rules, and package yields
• Support commercial reporting by tracking enquiry conversion rates, channel performance, and booking pace across both leisure and wellness segments
• Assist in supervising, training, and guiding Reservation Agents in Fivelements' service culture and booking standards

About you

• 3–5 years of reservation experience in luxury hospitality or boutique resorts, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Opera PMS (Cloud preferred), SynXis CRS, and Spa/Clinic scheduling tools (Book4Time or equivalent)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Thai
• Strong cross-departmental communication, product learning ability, attention to detail, and a structured approach to booking workflows
• Comfortable working under a direct line to the Reservations Manager and a dotted line to the Director of Commercial
