Assistant Restaurant Manager

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager will be in-charge of the entire operations of the restaurant during his shift including food quality, display of items, floor operations, ambience, staff issues, Customer service and day to day operations.

Planning and coordinating the shifts of the staff to achieve the best out of each staff and provide the efficient / timely service to customers during peak hours.

Preparing reports at the end of the shift on food control and sales

Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during the scheduled shifts.

Managing staff and providing them with feedback.

Responding to customer complaints.

Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.

Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations.

Maximize sales and profits by setting the standard in excellent Customer Service.

Train and supervise the Branch front end staffs.

Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.

Ensuring that the Caf Javas Guest Service Standards are achieved.

Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets.

Perform the Assistant Managers Checklist during his shift.

Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and services.

Special Attributes:

Sound Restaurant Management skills

Strong Leadership skills, Excellent communication skills, dependable, reliable and self-motivated, Good command over English

Solid track record of success in the previous assignment.

Qualification :

Bachelor / Master Degree in Hotel Management

Having 10 plus years of experience in Restaurant / Coffee Shop operations in a 5 star Hotel.

3 years of Managerial experience and consistent year of service.

Age :

28 - 31 years
