About the role

Tony Ting Food Concepts Inc (Classic Savory) is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to support the seamless operation of our restaurant and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and customer service excellence. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring our guests enjoy memorable experiences at every visit.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management and supervision of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure consistent service quality
• Monitor and maintain health and safety standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen and suppliers to ensure adequate stock
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction
• Support revenue management by monitoring sales targets, controlling costs, and optimising operational efficiency
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations, cash handling, and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives and special events

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality role, preferably as an assistant manager or supervisor
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and hospitality industry best practices
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Customer service excellence and a genuine passion for hospitality
