Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shifts by opening and closing the restaurant, managing flow and ensuring smooth service
• Scheduling, training, coaching, monitoring performance and resolving conflicts
• Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs
• Assisting with budgeting, tracking sales and managing cash
• Managing stock, placing orders and ensuring proper storage
• Ensure compliance with ISO22000, health and safety regulations regarding food storage and handling

Requirements

• High diploma or above with a certificate in Hospitality Management would be an advantage
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant setting
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Knowledge of POS system and restaurant software
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and work flexible hours (nights, weekends and public holidays)
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua speaking is preferable
• Computer literacy in MS Office and Chinese word processing
