About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to manage and drive the performance of multiple retail stores. The role will be responsible for sales, profitability, store operations, team performance, customer experience, inventory, and key retail KPIs across the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of sales, revenue, profitability, and store-wise targets.
• Manage and monitor performance of multiple stores and ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams.
• Analyse key KPIs and implement action plans to improve store productivity and performance.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and service standards across stores.
• Monitor inventory, stock availability, ageing, replenishment, and stock losses.
• Ensure adherence to visual merchandising and brand standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and identify operational and business gaps.
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with HR, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Projects, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support recruitment, training, performance management, and team development.
• Monitor store expenses and ensure effective cost and resource management.

What We Are Looking For

• 9–10 years of overall experience in fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or organized retail.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an ASM / Area Manager managing multiple stores.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving retail KPIs.
• Strong experience in people management, store operations, sales, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial mindset with a customer-first approach.
• Willingness to travel across assigned stores.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Retail Management qualification is an advantage.
