Assistant Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new dealer networks and expand business in new markets through field sales.
• Maintain relationships with existing dealers and generate repeat business.
• Achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular field visits, meet dealers, generate leads, and follow up on enquiries, quotations, and orders.
• Negotiate pricing and discounts while maintaining profit margins.
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales and B2B sales, preferably in furniture, furnishings, interiors, or related industries.
• Proven experience in dealer development, channel sales, and market expansion.
• Must be based in Mohali, Punjab, and willing to travel regularly for field sales.
• Age: 2540 years.
• Must have access to a two-wheeler for market visits.
• Proficiency in Hindi, English, and Punjabi.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Good numerical skills, including percentage and discount calculations.
• Knowledge of measurements in feet, inches, and millimetres.
• Personal laptop preferred.
