About the role
Assistant Service Engineer / Technician role involving decontamination projects, laboratory works and data analysis. Job training will be provided, where you learn basic decontamination skills and on-the-job instruction. Part of this time is spent in the workshop and in the field.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out assigned decontamination projects, laboratory works and data analysis
- Understand and comply with accepted safety procedures
- Perform other technical duties as assigned
About you
- Diploma or equivalent in Engineering certification
- 0-3 years of related work experience
- Experience working successfully in a team environment
- Medically qualified to wear a respirator, able to lift 25 kg, and able to climb ladders without assistance
- Ability to communicate effectively on a basic and technical level
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Work calmly under tremendous stress
- Experience in fogging would be an advantage
