Assistant Shipping Manager

An Assistant Shipping Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing daily shipping and distribution operations. They use software to track and prioritize orders, manage important shipping documents, direct package flow, and collaborate with various departments to optimize processes.

Job Responsibility ：

• Handling export shipment and on time delivery arrangement shipping process.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping processes.
• Negotiating the price of shipment transportation with carriers.
• Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency and control budget of the shipping department.
• Processing shipment documentation and inspecting completed orders.
• Creating and implementing shipping policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment.
• Documenting processes and reporting to management as required.
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders.
• Evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics.
• Monitor and job arrangement to shipping team.
• Complying to shipping industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements and skills :

• 3-5years working experience as assistant shipping manager.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or similar preferred.
• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
• Experience in using ERP system and preparing shipping documents.
• Good understanding of budgeting and reporting.
• Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Good arrangement shipment process.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities.
