Assistant Sound Manager / Front of House Engineer

KCU Impact Enterprises is seeking a reliable, professional, and growth-minded Assistant Sound Manager to join our team roster. Position Overview

The Assistant Sound Manager will support the Sound Manager in executing audio responsibilities for concerts, rehearsals, and live productions. This individual must be capable of performing both A1 (Front-of-House Sound) and A2 (Stage Audio Support) duties as needed to ensure quality sound and smooth production execution.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-of-house sound and manage live audio mixing when assigned (A1).
• Assist with stage setup, microphones, patching, monitors, and in-ear monitor systems (A2).
• Set up, test, maintain, and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Coordinate sound requirements with the Sound Manager and Technical Team.
• Attend production meetings, rehearsals, and sound checks as needed.
• Maintain professional communication, respond to inquiries within 24–48 hours, and arrive on time for assigned calls.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment.

• Familiarity with digital mixing consoles and in-ear monitor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure and follow direction.
• Availability for rehearsals, meetings, and event dates.
• Interest in building long-term professional relationships with the organization.

Compensation

Compensation is project-based. up to $500-$750/ project

Pay: $500.00 - $750.00 per day
