Assistant Store Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and service-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of a high-end Jewelry boutique in the heart of New York City. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience. This role supports the Store Manager in driving sales performance, fostering team development, and maintaining the brand’s elevated standards of presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations, including sales, client relations, merchandising, and staff supervision.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional client service and ensuring an elevated in-store experience.
• Assist in achieving and exceeding store sales goals and key performance metrics.
• Motivate, coach, and develop team members to ensure productivity, professionalism, and alignment with brand values.
• Maintain visual standards and ensure all product displays reflect brand guidelines.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and loss prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on accountability and results.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and onboarding new employees.
• Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a retail leadership role, preferably within a luxury or contemporary apparel environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Hands-on management style with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
