Assistant Store Manager

Brewing Alley is a growing coffee and tea shop focused on quality beverages and exceptional customer service. We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Management: Oversee daily operations, sales, inventory, and customer service.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, train, and develop employees.
• Hiring & Scheduling: Conduct interviews, participate in hiring decisions, manage schedules, and evaluate employee performance.
• Operations & Cost Control: Manage inventory, ordering, labor costs, POS systems, and cash handling.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain beverage quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Hands-On Support: Assist with coffee and tea preparation during busy periods while overseeing store operations.
• Business Performance: Monitor sales, improve efficiency, and achieve store goals.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or similar business preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and POS systems.
• Ability to independently manage store operations.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

• $52,000–$58,000 annual salary, based on experience
• 7 days of PTO after 1 year, including sick and vacation days
• PTO increases by 1 day each additional year
• 90-day performance review
