Assistant Store Manager

About the role

Kenny Rogers Roasters is looking for a dedicated and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the overall operations of the restaurant and help deliver exceptional customer service. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will assist in leading daily operations, developing team members, maintaining operational standards, and driving business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Support the supervision, coaching, and development of team members to achieve operational and business goals.
• Help monitor sales performance, labor productivity, inventory levels, and operating costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and health regulations.
• Address customer concerns professionally and assist in resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct staff training, coaching, and performance monitoring to support employee development.
• Assist in preparing reports, work schedules, and other operational documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Act as the Store Manager's representative in managing restaurant operations during assigned shifts.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
