Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily bakery café operations.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service.
• Supervise shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Train and onboard new employees while maintaining company standards.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and minimize product waste.
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and payroll support.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Open and close the bakery according to company procedures.
• Support sales growth through excellent service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, café, bakery, or retail management experience preferred but not needed.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain if required).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
