Assistant Store Manager

Beeez Craft house is a new hands-on creative experience studio opening in Troy, Michigan in November 2026, At Beeez, it's not just about making craft, it's about the experience. We are looking for friendly, energetic, creative, and customer-focused team members who understand that great service is about creating a great experience.

What You'll Do as a Assistant Manager

• Welcome every customers warmly and create a fun, friendly, and inviting atmosphere
• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are properly labeled, organized, and replenished regularly
• Open and close the store**,** following daily checklists
• Guide and support the team during shift**-** answer questions**, solve problems, keep energy up**
• Train new hires on the customer service flow and each craft station
• Scheduling party reservations
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle difficult situations calmly
• Explain products and demonstrate how to use them, helping guest choose materials if needed
• Support cashiering duties by processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service at checkout counters
• Assist with hiring, reviewing applications, interviews, and onboarding new team members
• Keep craft stations stocked and organized, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store throughout
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage
• Handle cash, register reconcilation

What We're looking for:

• Prior store operations or leadership experience is required
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
• Calm under pressure and quick to solve problems
• Lead teammates to support busy periods, birthday parties
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers
• able to multitask in a fun, fast-paced environment
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Comfortable standing, walking, and moving around during a shift
• Reliable, responsible, and lead-by -example attitude
• Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Craft, art or event experience is a plus
• We will train you on our products and experience. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, and ability to connect with our customers.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
