Assistant Store Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Stores & Warehouse Operations - Ensure efficient end-to-end management of stores and warehouse activities for seamless material availability and inventory control.
2. Inventory Management - Drive inventory accuracy and stock optimization to support business continuity and working capital efficiency.
3. Block Stock & SLOB Management - Reduce blocked, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory through proactive monitoring and corrective actions.
4. GRIR & Transit Inventory Control - Ensure timely reconciliation of GRIR and transit inventory to improve financial and operational accuracy.
5. Team Leadership - Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
6. Compliance & Safety - Maintain adherence to statutory, audit, safety, and company compliance requirements across warehouse operations.
7. Continuous Improvement - Drive process excellence through Lean initiatives, system enhancements, and KPI-based performance improvements.
8. Inbound & Outbound TAT Management -  Ensure all inbound, outbound, and dispatch activities are completed within defined turnaround times (TAT) and service-level agreements.
9. MIS, Dashboard & Management Reporting -  Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reports, and management presentations using Excel, and PowerPoint for effective decision-making.
10. Cost & Loss Optimization - Drive inventory carrying cost reduction, warehouse cost optimization, inventory loss control, and working capital improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 1015 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory Management, and Cold Storage Operations.
• Experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing industry is mandatory.
• Strong exposure to SAP/ERP systems
• Proven experience in managing large warehouse operations and inventory controls.
