Ayoub’s Dried Fruits & Nuts is a specialty food retailer known for premium dried fruits, freshly roasted nuts, chocolates, snacks and gifts.

We are excited to be opening our first location in the United States and are looking for an Assistant Store Manager who can help bring the Ayoub’s experience to a new community.

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager who enjoys helping a retail team deliver welcoming, reliable customer service. You’ll support daily store operations, guide employees, and help keep sales, staffing, and inventory on track. Your impact: By coaching the team and maintaining accurate inventory, you help customers find the products they need and support smooth store operations. 90% of this job is talking to customers, getting to know them and helping them find what they are after. Duties

• Support owner with sales goals, budgeting, purchasing, pricing, merchandising, stocking, and inventory control.
• Supervise shifts, coordinate team management, and assist with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training and development.
• Oversee cashiering, cash handling, payroll, bookkeeping, and point-of-sale (POS) systems; apply basic math and retail math accurately.
• Deliver customer service, support retail sales and wireless sales, and share retail store product knowledge with customers and employees.
• Communicate operational updates clearly, manage time and priorities, and use negotiation and phone etiquette skills as needed.

Requirements

• Assistant manager experience and supervising experience in retail are preferred, including retail industry sales team management experience.
• Knowledge of retail management, store management, sales management, shift management, and operations management; operational management experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, payroll submission, sales target.
• Strong leadership, managerial communication, communication, and organizational skills, with sound math and time management.
• Customer-focused approach; multilingual or bilingual abilities are welcome.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
